Pour leur nouvel album «Primitive rap and shamanic dirty sabotage from swiss Jura» le duo a composé une dizaine de titres entre Buenos Aires et la campagne suisse profonde. Acerbe et énergique comme auparavant, leur LP est aussi plus triste, plus noise et plus shamanique. Avec des apparitions de zoë et Dubuk, il se teinte aussi de féminité. Mêlant douceur et rage orgiaque, rythmiques dissonantes et chorales ratées, le troisième album de Gängstgäng, avec ses textes appelant à la révolte, est un manifeste politique d’arrière-zone.

What can I say about Non Serviam that hasn’t already been said? They’re constantly and consistently on the fringe of experimentation; if throwing disparate genres into a blender in order to make gourmet music was the premise for a restaurant, theirs would be three MICHELIN stars. Listen, I took two years of French in high school and basically didn’t retain a thing. But you know what? That doesn’t matter, because Non Serviam is easily one of the most incredible groups regardless of your (or their) native tongue. They consistently put out some of the most dynamic and artistic music out there, and I’d you’re not a fan, then I truly feel sorry for you.
